That sailor's spontaneous kiss at the close of WWII, Shackleton's ship Endurance being crushed by the Antarctic ice, (but NOT the balletic workman painting the Eiffel Tower... that was real!), were all carefully contrived through the photographers desire to heighten emotion and capture the essence of the moment.

ABOUT THE PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHER

A passion for photography developed while at art school, where he was studying graphic design. With photography naturally featuring prominently in his final course work, it caught the eye of an examiner who happened to be the Head of Photography at a commercial studio. Over the next 30 years, this photographer has learned the craft and amassed an extensive stock library, rich with experience.

Photographers travel, and photographic assignments have taken this photographer all over the world. This has allowed an interest in African wildlife photography to be indulged.

An understanding of the balance between the subject and a photograph's 'negative space' has also led to a series of work that explores the more surreal aspects of the female form in digital photography that captures the power yielded by the subject.

The photographer is well know for his master class courses on photography, where the only entry qualification is a passion for photography. Teaching not just 'How to become a fashion photographer', but also 'How to be a fashion photographer'.
